Egg Turn and Potato Quiche
Serves: 3
Syns per serving: 1 Syn on Extra Easy and Green, 5 Syns on Original
*Add 6 Syns otherwise using cheese as a Healthy Extra ‘a’ choice
3 eggs
142ml semi-skimmed milk
Salt & pepper
320g cooked potatoes
113g tomatoes, skinned
Low calorie baking bottle of spray
126g grated low fat cheddar
Parsley to garnish
Cooking time: 40 minutes
Preparation time: 15 minutes
1. Pre-heat your stove to 170C.
2. Beat this eggs thoroughly and include the dairy, salt and pepper.
3. Cut your prepared potatoes and tomatoes.
4. Squirt a pie meal with low-calorie baking spray. Put in a layer of potato, after that tomato, put in a dropping of cheeses and 2-3 tbsps of the egg combination. Layer again, completing with a layer of cheeses and pour over the remaining egg mixture.
5. Cook slowly in the moderate oven for around 40 min’s till set and also the cheese at the top of is gold brown.
6. Take by using parsley and serve
Chicken Curry with Rice & Onion Bhaji’s all SYN FREE on EXTRA EASY
Fry Light
Chicken
1 Onion, finely chopped
2 Garlic Cloves, crushedOne teaspoon ground ginger
… 1 tablespoons of curry powder
1 tsp Garam MasalaOne teaspoon Chinese five spice
400g Passata
60ml Vegetable stock2 tablespoons artificial sweetener
50g natural zero fat fromage frais..
1 tbsp chopped coriander
1. Spray a pan as well as Cook Gentle and prepare the onion plus garlic until soft. Add the ginger and also cook to get 1-2 mins, then add curry powder plus make for more 1-2 minutes.
2. Add your chicken and also cook until cooked through
3. Add the passata, vegetable stock and sweetener and produce to the steam. Lessen the heat and simmer for 12-15 minutes ensuring this hen will be cooked fully. Add the coriander
4. Take off the heat when ready to serve and stir with the yoghurt/ fromage frais or if you want it quite creamy try fraiche but you have to syn this!!
Serve & enjoy with rice..
Onion Bhaji’s
1 packet of Smash made up per instructions – (don’t make too wet)
3 medium onions, finely chopped
1 garlic clove
2 tbsp medium curry powder
1 tbsp Garam Masala
1. Dry fry onions
2. Add spices and make for additional 2 minutes
3. Stir in smash
4. Make into balls – don’t make in too smooth, rougher edges make them crispier
5. Bake in a medium oven about gas mark 5-6 for 30-40 minutes
